A&Q about Lotus
Q:
So at 1:11pm on 10/10/1976 I came into this world. At 8:15am on 10/10/2006 my wife presented a me with a Lotus Elise. Don't get too excited, it was a rental but what a car. This car is amazing. After going on a run with some of the Ferrari guys, my wife and I agreed that what ever it takes we are getting a Ferrari. I am sure it wouldn't be more expensive than a 308 until my business gets rolling but that is fine with me. Now, for the same amount of money we are going to get an Elise. It won't be right away but this is the car for me. Affordable, nimble and new with a maintenance free Toyota drivetrain. I now know what it must be like to drive a Stradale. On a smaller scale, literally, but there is just nothing more on the car than is required to get sold to the public.
I had the day of my life and drove 225 miles that day. I love it and I hope you enjoy the pics. Make mine an Orange Sport!

a bit confuse here as I am not aware of Ferrari cars (as in it's out of my level for now), what type of Ferrari that cost the same money as an Elise?
A:
welcome!! it isn't maintenance FREE, but there are schedules maintenances (you can do yourself) every 7500 miles or so... definitely better than other "exotics"

As stated in my post, we were looking at getting a 308 Ferrari. These cars can be had for between $27-$45K. However, due to their age and typical Ferrari maintenance I believe the Lotus is a better fit for us at this time.

oh, the Magnum PI ferraris. Now I know... It's a nice car, but for the money you want to spend, you are right, it's better to spend on a newer and updated car that will offer the same thing as the Ferrari.
