stock exhaust must go

A&Q about Lotus

Q:
If I could figure out how to put a film snippit on here, I'd gladly share my Fujita/Stage II video. Sounds like heaven (or hell) going through a tunnel!

I just put on a Larini this weekend. Great buy for the money and sounds like a sports car. Very deep and mellow - kind of like an Italian exhaust. Lots of pops and burbles. It's really nice shifting, 1-2 and 2-3 and having it "POP". Aaahhhh music to my ears.

What about a Super Trapp? It wouldn't weigh much & depending on the # of discs you used, could be quite sonorous.

Just put my Arqray single tip on yesterday. I've been grinning like I did when I first got the car. It finally sounds like it should.

There are probably 2 dozen different combinations of exhausts and intakes out there. A CAI will make the most difference to your ear as a driver. The exhaust will make more difference to others behind you. If you don't mind loud, I'd recommend both a CAI and exhaust. Personally, I love the combo of QS Exhaust, Larini silenced decat, and FF CAI. I agree, that the stock set-up sounds a bit weak.

I have the 6 inch 2bular w/tips exiting through the diffuser. I had the single tip before. I loved them both. The best sounding exhaust out there. Deep throaty growl without the constant drone of the stage 2.

I love my setup - Arqray dual Ti de-cat with the Turboxs Intake - music to my ears and it scares small children

Was thinking of the Supertrapp. One other member has it here that I know if. Would seem to be restrictive w/ few discs on to keep it fairly quiet?
