Gut duct Fenders from Sector111

Isn't there a wheel liner that runs the entire curvature of the wheel well? I seem to remember one in there when I put my new headlights in.

Does that have to be cut then in order to allow for any airflow? I'm not right next to my car but I thought there was a seem right in that spot where two sections of the well came together, perhaps it was all one piece, I may be remembering incorrectly it's been a few months since I looked in that area.

Are the fins in the pictures painted or coated to have a carbon fiber look? It's hard to tell if they're just shiny or CF or something else ...

Thanks for the products! Keep them coming!
1) yes the fender liner does cover and come all the way around. due to the flaired nature of the fender, a small (and i mean small) section is exposed through to the vent, but in order to get the ideal wind flow you'd want, you would have to make a small cut into the plastic liner to open up the hole completely...

2) the fins or louveres pictured on my car (blue ones) are actually CF fins that GUT used in their CF version... the ones sector 111 are offering are all FRP versions... fender + fins....

Absolutely correct, I had the same problem on my 996's, the front plastic bumper looked different than the rest of the car. However, I did not notice it on my 997, they must have figured out how to avoid this. I always thought it was odd that Porsche had problems matching paint on different materials.

They can send a man to the moon, but they can't match some stinkin' paint!

Deadlines are a bitch, thank's for the pics, the car looks great. Don't
worry about Neil's antichrome remark..... he's not into chrome polish, wax or soap and water on a car. hehe.

i know that if parts are well prepped, usually surface differences can be avoided... of course having a whole section painted together rather than just one component can probably help with the blends too...

Looks great. I'm curious to know how many pairs will be sold at that price point.

$1,100...

Yeah, I just checked the price after I said I was interested. For 1100 plus paint and install, I think I will pass; sorry Neil.

It's ok. These have the functionality of the Exige fenders but cost far less. The Exige fenders retail at $945.47 per side non painted.

Yes, they will fit. Good luck finding wrecked ones, and even better luck finding the part at a discount.

Niel I looked into getting the exige Hinge covers a while back and HRM told me that they were about $700 each unpainted.
