A&Q about Lotus

Hey Everyone!
I'm new to the site and just joined late last night mountain time. I'm only 15 but love cars and def. cant wait to drive. I know most everything about cars and my dad has a nightfall blue elise (05'). I live in colorado and trust me there are some awesome places in the mountains to go driving.
Anyways enough with me onto the questions...
Does anyone think that the nightfall blue would look good with white racing stripes and silver pin stripes? I want to get them for my dad for x-mas this year but would like some feedback as to wether or not all you other elise owners would think it would look good or if it would be overdoing the whole look. Feedback is appreciated Thanks.
Also I tried to create a new thread last night and type this basic thing but when i got on this afternoon from schol i looked everywhere and couldnt find it anywhere and was wondering if it maybe didnt get posted and if it didnt does anyone know what i might have done wrong? Also if anyone has any ways of easily using your home page to your advantages besides just the searh forum button? Thanks

Your post is about 10 below this one. I think the stripes you suggest would look good. Take a look at the dark blue Ford GT with white stripes on the Ford site for an idea of the appearance. Don't surprise your Dad with a fait accompli, bad idea. I have a NFB Elise and, for those into Lotus history, the color is very much like the color Rob Walker racing used in the 1960's. A stripe pattern like Stirling Moss' would be uniquely appropriate to NFB. Just a thought.

Spudboy and uncle sam...thanks i did see it after you guys told me where it was... i just wasnt reading carefully enough...(im 15 cut me some slack lol) neways uncle sam ya i do know what the blue gt looks like (my dad says thats his next car) but thanks for the input def take it into consideratin cuz ik that the color is nice and if he wouldnt like the stripes itd be a waste.
