A&Q about Lotus
Q:
I was reading through the manual for the second time and noticed that there was nothing in there referencing the traction control. My manual skips the traction control indicator in the dashboard warning lights section and doesn't mention the button next to the shifter. Basically no mention of traction control anywhere.
I searched ET and couldn't find this covered. Does anyone have any "official" Lotus information on the traction control option?
GVD
By the way, my manual is for my '06 Elise (SP, TP, TC, LSD)

I think the 06 manual is the 05, but with an addendum at the end. Check for extra loose pages.
Basically to toggle it off you have to hold the button for about 5 seconds. It will turn back on if you start the car up again.

the haas turbo is not covered in the manual either.

I just took a look at my 2006 manual (which does in fact say "Elise plus Exige Owner's Handbook 2006 model year onwards") -- and all the other effluvia that came with the car, and I didn't see anything on the Traction Control either.
JnC is quite correct about the traction control button.
Ultimately, it comes down to the one fundamental truth here, namely: "Everything I learned (or need to know) about the Elise, I learned from EliseTalk!"

I've got an '05 with TC/LSD and the TC is described in an addendum tucked in the pocket of the manual. As mentioned, hold the button down for a few secs to disable.

I'm pretty sure it's in my manual.
Another gem in the manual is that it explicitly states the Exige can be driven without the top on. I remember those threads...
