A&Q about Lotus

Hello everyone!
Thought I'd say 'Hi' from across the pond, I'm a UK Elise owner, driving a starlight black Series 1 Sport 160, mods include a de-cat pipe, Janspeed competition exhaust, and a Hurricane induction kit. Ride height 100/110 (low!) Needless to say, it is very loud! I love the 'raw' feeling of the car, I understand that you guys can't even drive S1's on the public road because of emission laws, is that right?!
I've been in a 111R recently, and although it was a lovely car, I wouldn't swap the 160 for it anyday, I love the car that much! I'll hopefully pop in here regularly and give an opinion or two, but for now I hope you guys just carry on enjoying this truly wonderful car, and you are all real car fans just by being here, believe me....

Ah, you haven't been there then!
The only thing you might know from there is Rutger's University, famous for the first American football game with Princeton University 18 miles down the road. Not much there now but housing developments and too many people!

I was born in London and grew up in Beaulieu down in the New Forest. My first job was in the car museum there! That was all a long time ago, but I remember it all fondly. I moved here when the Gatso's started going up. I couldn't take the nannying anymore, and the road and tracks here in CA have to be seen and driven to be believed!!
