A&Q about Lotus
Q:
in 205/45-16 Front & 235/45-17 on the stock sport package wheels.
Do you guys see any issues w/ these tire sizes?
I would like to do the Pzero Nero M+S as i live here in NY... I am not looking for the snow traction but I am assuming a M+S tire will offer more traction on a cold pavement vs a summer tire, is this assumption false?
Thanks

For winter driving I'd go as thin as possible. If you do get stuck in the snow, wider is worse. Many years ago I worked at a tire store and saw studies that showed all season tires only being marginally better than summer tires in winter conditions. Winter tires are way better in the snow and on ice. If you plan on driving the car during the winter I'd suggest going for proper winter tires if you can find them (along with a set of cheaper wheels to mount them on - in standard non LSS size).

I believe there is a difference in driving in the winter vs driving in the snow
I am looking for max performance in the cold weather, sunny day but w/ 30° air temp. Would a all-season tire help in this vs a summer tire? Common sense would assume so....but you know what they say about assuming
