I think it's British for "thingamabob." We have several of them in various places on our cars according to the service manual.

Proof that you can take anything, slap a Lotus sticker on it, and mark it up 3-10x.
Here's a $3 fuse that someone has a Buy it Now price of $35 for it. Cause it's LOTUS.
Hmmm. Those blades look a bit tarnished. Maybe the expense is due to pre-conditioning the fuse to be in a British car's electrical system?
