High School Parade. Need Elises, open tops for cheerleaders.

A&Q about Lotus

Q:
Man this thread reminds me of how old I felt last Friday night. I pull into a gas station and notice a school bus there. Some high school was returning from an away game and was making a pit stop. Through the glass store-front I can see a bunch of cheer leaders inside. I'm thinking but when I get inside I suddenly realize that they all just look like kids to me; like somebody's daughters. No joy.

I've several calls coming in from their folks asking how it's going.
Perhaps the cheerleaders also have nylon warm-up pants or sweat-type pants they could wear. That could eliminate some of the 'uncomfortableness'...or unbolt your passenger seats and have two cheerleaders per car (I assume they'd stand).

I spoke with one of the moms and she said that they are really hoping to get some cars. I posted up on the LOCO email link, again, and I'm hoping to get some more response. I'd hate to have to rely on the Ferarri gang for help Heck, the ride is only a mile long. And I'm sure that a reasonable parent could drive an Elise for such a short stint (if the owner wouldn't want to drive it).

Heck, I'm even trying to see if I can get some Shriners to toss in a few antique cars.

Gee, are you sure the tinfoil-thick aluminum "floor" with hold?
I'd put some plywood down across the seat rails if I were you.

I'd put some plywood down across the seat rails if I were you. I was thinking about a piece of "mirror" polished steel. Oh gee, I didn't say that. Of course, all this is in jest. Yah, I'm definately putting something down on the floor to distribute the extra weight.
