A&Q about Lotus

Q:
FYI: Just so you guys know, anyone who purchases a 2006 Lotus Elise or Exige between now and November 30th will receive a trip to Las Vegas to enjoy "The complete Lotus performance driving experience." This includes airfare, first class hotel accomodations at the Bellagio or Casino Las Vegas, meals, and of course, laps at Las Vegas Speedway Road Course with a profession driving instructor. Exige customers will stay an extra day, as I understand. If you have questions, please contact me.

That's pretty sweet. I'm sure some people would rather get a $2,000 discount though. Lotus should organize a similar event (though not necessarily free) for existing Lotus owners. It would be a good way to promote the brand and build customer loyalty. In addition to instructors they could have lotus technicians there to answer our questions, etc. and we can bug them about getting a Lotus aftermarket supercharger (which the dealers could make lots of money installing). Maybe they could also bring the new Europa, Exige S and Esprit prototype to entice us even more.

I second the idea of Supercharger dealer installed to not void warrenty.

Most would want the discount and than the trip to boot.

This has been discussed quite a bit already in this thread.
