From one of the other threads it looks like we are going to have a little informal meet this saturday at 4pm meeting up at Princeton Lotus. it looks like we are going to take a drive and get something to eat. if you want to just meet up for the ride, thats cool too.

Lotus F1, that audio clip on S&SC's web site is an excerpt BRM V-16 roaring around a track! my studio has fun designing their work! great people at S&SC!

i might be able to drive up and say hello before you start your drive. i have a family gig that eve and the scheduling will be close if i went on he ride.

I'd really like to go, especially after adding a couple more gizmos to the car
(Trim Shop console / door inserts, driving lights, other bits). But I'm committed to going to a U.Del. football game with the wife (as payback for doing car stuff for the rest of Sept.). So, gotta skip this one. The unfortunate part is that I'm not an F-ball fan at all. Oh, well, trade-offs must be made.

That sounds like a V16 BRM. Pretty cool.
Edit: Sorry, just noticed espritV8 caught that already. Pretty unmistakeable sound. I have a clip of that on a sample CD of Nick Mason's cars at Goodwood that came with a magazine 3 to 4 years ago. IIRC, those engines revved to something like 12k back in the early fifties.
Wish I could go this weekend, but I'll be out of town.

I sent a PM to carbuff about a previous run from Hopewell to Frenchtown and back...asking for the route but havent heard from him. he sounded confident that their previous drives were really good! Anyone have the route info?
Going on an agressive drive with 5+ Lotus seems like it would really reduce your chances of a run-in with the police (or at least getting a ticket). Has anyone been on a spirited drive with a group an been stopped?? What were the results?

A group of Seven's did the Skyline drive earlier in the summer, and yes they did get ticketed.
BTW, cory1000, I think you missed my post. I will be there with my wife. Don't know how spirited my driving will be, since I am still in the break in period. Gotta get the miles in.
