I know you were; I'm not mad, and did not take it the wrong way. The same offer goes out to you if you want to test drive my 345. Just have your psychiatrist send me your IQ results before we meet up.

I hope my bill isn't anywhere near that since I already have the 275 kit, but I'm sure a lot of the money I'm paying is going to Mean TT's consultant fee.

Casey, where are you guys going to be on the 9 - 11? John said you are racing somewhere in Southern CA, Willow Springs?

Nice, can't wait to see it. I will probably meet John there and he will transport my car back up to you. So if you are not at willow springs, then we won't meet until I pick up my car in November.
Of course I might have to fly you out to Albuquerque to do some high altitude tuning on my car, so get ready for that.
Going to bed now, must sleep so I can make it to work tomorrow and earn some more 340 money!

Here it is:
Sorta complimentary but a sour note about the drivability at the end of the day. They mentioned that the ForcedFed crew was not happy either. I gather that this was not the 275 version but either way, if drivability is reduced, I wouldn't want it. Casey, comments? I used to live in Livermore, now in Saratoga. You guys should host a GGLC/Club111 day at your place some time.

Mean TT:
I am not sure what went on between you and Brett when he worked here as the project manager. However, I do not appreciate your statement that we are milking the Elise community. It is quite obvious that you have a problem with ForcedFed and I suggest that you get over it and move on.
I am not trying to instigate a bashing contest, but just merely want to state the facts of what our package is all about. I will not post any continued response to this subject as well.
I would also like thank the supporters of ForcedFed for your kind words and support with our products.
Regards,
John

Scott,
The car that went to the C&D event was the ForcedFed 400R package, controlled by a piggy back computer. We have since re-engineered the entire package, and is now the 380R package with a stand-alone ecu.
With regards to the ForcedFed crew not happy, there's was only 1 person that was unhappy and it's really sad and unfortunate that we got stuck with that perception.
We will host a Lotus dyno day soon.

John, I think that serious buyers and potential buyers of your products understand the value.
Now if I could just take your 275 for a test drive at a local track...
Can you arrange for one at Thunderhill at the end of October? Or Portland on the 18th?

He basically meant me; I am the biggest supporter with the kindest words. Each word is very warm! You are welcome John, and I am sorry about the comment about Brett, it was just a joke. You are the owner and mastermind behind ForcedFed with Casey as your right hand man (is that right?)
Also, on your list above, you forgot the DMC Dual Gauge pod and Autometer oil pressure gauge and Autometer 20 psi boost gauge. Installed, this is worth at least another 1K. Your kit is so complete, you have thought of everthing. And with your mind blowing 380 kit, you even address the suspension and brakes. All well thought out.
When ForcedFed does a kit and install, it is done right and with high quality parts, and please do not forget the Engineering and R&D that went into these kits, that is worth something too.
I really think you have the support of the Elise Community John, there will always be a few naysayers. What is funny, is that these negative people probably have never driven one of your FI Elises, or even seen one. If you do not have experience with a product, you need to keep your pie hole shut.
I have a lot of experience with your turbo kits, so I get to talk all day long! And my talk comes with an offer to drive my car; I can back it up.

With such a small market, it's amazing we have companies out there willing to put in the R&D to make reliable and well thought out packages. Thanks.

Whether I buy one or not, I completely agree with the above statement. Wonderful having so much R&D and technological know how out there to support these cult cars.

What are you expecting in terms of car downtime? Im going to be looking at some houses in the santa cruz area the week of the 15th, will your car still be there?

None. Too hard to get into and out of.
