A&Q about Lotus
Q:
Between Sept and Nov 31th 2006 if you purchase a New Lotus, you get one day at the Bellagio, round trip air fare, and a day at the track to learn how to drive your new Lotus with professional drivers. Contact Brandon at Lotus Beverly Hills to set up an appointment for a test drive today.

Yeah, stop bombarding the messageboard with all 6 of your posts.
Larry sure knows how to make people feel welcome around here. Are you a Wal-mart greeter by chance?
A:
This is true for all Lotus dealerships. Anyone want to buy me a new Lotus? I want a free trip to Vegas.
A:
I think he works here:
A:
Yes Larry cool it- having a dealer post can be very helpful. At least its on topic ( no offence to the "When did you become a man" post)
A:
Yes, this is true for all So Cal dealership at least. I am not if the program is good for the whole US. You will have to get with your local dealer. Feel free to ask any questions, I am happy to help.
P.S. I have not made 6 post and I only try to provide helpful information

so if you get free airfare and tracktime, how do you get your car there?
A:
They have cars there to drive ... has anyone ever done this in vegas before?

Lotus has hired a twin rotor sikorsky cargo helicopter. Simply leave your car in your driveway and they will 'lift' the car and transport it in perfect safety to Vegas. Cool eh?

Yes, we should have more posts explaining how to avoid scraping the front of the car in excruciating detail.

Is your username from the VW GTI 331; think that is what they called it?

No my username has nothing to do with cars. It's a name I came up with in 1994 and have used it ever since.
It actually refers to the movie THE CROW and the death of it's star Brandon Lee on March 31 ... 3/31 ... I was a big fan

I'm not quite sure how a trip to Vegas will influence my decision to buy a car from your dealership in the future. How about why I should come to you for service since most of us already own our Lotus'. Or why we should recommend anyone to you when South Bay has been such a pleasure to deal with. Theres more to a dealership then the price of the cars on your lot, and with a 90210 zip code you scare off potential negotiators. Why should we come to you, and why is it better then what we are already happy with?
I am kind of annoyed with Lotus of Beverly Hills already. Huge push on ET to get the word out, but sorry to say South Bay has a huge following and lots of us feel there is no need for your dealership.
Good luck Brandon, perhaps I will stop in and you will convince me that your dealership is neccessary; besides the Vegas trip!

Uh, I think the promotion is for new car buyers. Avi if it will make you feel better, I'll take you to Vegas for free too and you can be my best man.
I don't think BH Lotus is here to take anyone away from South Bay but to offer new customers looking for a new Elise the option of not having to drive all the way down to Hermosa. Don't be a hater, you're happy where you are, let the guy promote his business and make a living huh? Brandon is a nice guy.
And how is this different from Symbolic Motors free breakfast? I didn't go over to that thread and say "I'm not quite sure how bacon and eggs will influence my decision to buy a car from your dealership in the future". Cut the guy a little slack huh?

Sorry. I didn't mean to cause such a problem.

I love Southbay so much it's completely silly...it's like Apple levels of loyalism here. If there somehow in this universe is another dealer like Southbay, with their own Abe, Qais, George and Skeeter...then dayamn, the universe got a lot better. I will say though, I love walking by the Bevery Hills dealer - they have perfected the art of lust window shopping.

That's actually a great analogy. I feel the same way, so, nothing against BH per sey, but they have been set up to be the "PC' in a way.
And Crow, I DO have a problem with Lotus opening a dealership so close to Southbay. Southbay earned the business in this area by providing the best customer service most people in this area have ever had - in ANY business we deal with. They more than met the needs of their coverage area. You REWARD that kind of service, not smack it in the face. I'm sorry, but IMHO, on this one I feel Lotus is simply wrong, and NOT demonstrating the class of behavior one would like to associate with the brand. Frankly, it seems...whorish to me.
Crow, have you pruchased your car from them yet? I would be curious to know the level of service they provide you. What did you decide to go with? Again, it's nothing personal.
