A&Q about 350Z

I wish it was with my 73z, but I took him out with my 93 RX-7. My 7 just has a street port, exhaust, air filter, nothing major. I figured I ran high 13's in the quarter (I never raced at a legal drag strip). I was kind of disapointed that I beat him so bad (about 4 car lengths). All I knew was that he had an exhaust because he reved me at the stop light. Before today I was looking at buying an 04' Touring, but now I'm having second thoughts.

well.. your modded rx-7 has probably similar HP/torque numbers as the 350, but weighs like 400 lbs less.

I don't see why it's hard to believe at all. Even though he didn't specify, by saying he believes he'd run high 13's in the 1/4 I'm assuming it's a twin turbo rx-7. They were a handful for twin turbo 300's back in the day, which are in turn more than an average 350z can hope to run with.
If it's an n/a rx-7 then it wouldn't run high 13's . . . and would probably lose to a 350z given equal driving.

Haha... seems funny I raced my freinds rx7 tt and beat him with my 350z . wankles are cool and can be fast but why do you empty your tank and ill emty mine put in 5 gallons each and race see who gets farther amazing how a 1.3 lt can get 10 mpg. great design. sounds more like a gas pump to me. i love the car in person amazing looking. funny how you see every one on eaby with 50k and motor is brand new or been rebuilt. ill stick with my 350z and keep my only wankle in my pants.
