A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hey, I recently installed pulleys on my `04 track pikes peak.... Curious if anyone knows if they will void my warranty on.. say.. my tranny... If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

If you take the car to the dealer for repairs with the pulleys on. They will most likely claim you have raced/abused the car and void your powertrain warantee. Believe me, it happened to me a while back. Really sucks !
Other guys will tell you that according to law they would have to prove it was the cause of the trannys damage. Unfortunately, it generally ends up the other way around. You have to take them to court before they will do anything. It simply is easier to swap the pulleys back off than it is to spend hours in the court rooms. But, technically they are correct.
So, save yourself and anytime you take the car into the dealer for service take of the pulleys and replace the factory set up until your warantee in up.
Or, just wait until your factory warantee is up before you start modifying.

Warantee is actually 3 yrs/36 months. The longer warantee is for the G35.

Factory "Drivetrain" warranty is 6yrs/60K miles for the Z. If your tranny blows up, or driveshaft breaks for example.
