The PPW has silver metal flake in paint that sparkles when in he sun.That looks much better then indoor lighting or on a cloudy day.

I have heard that since the 06 is heavier too it is actually slower then the 03.
And then there are people that say there is no relation to the 240! Ha!

It's actually not a metallic: it's a pearl mica, hence several different colors appear in the sunlight:

same here... i have a CS but the PPW just like you said gives the car a real classy look... almost like black but on a brighter side...
i had a Korean lady (BTW i don't know if she really is Korean but she is normally at the Korean church down the street so i would assume...)
anyways, i was working in my yard and she drove up in a PPW, past me, backed up and then asked me, do you know where the car inspection place is??? much to my surprise... so i told her... the same place i go to... i was half expecting her to say something useful or complementary to my Z... seeing how it was prominantly displayed infront of my house...
i guess that was a little stuck up or self-centered of me... but fortunately i know my personality... and can see the error in my ways... and fortunately also know how to completely correct every error i see... which also relates to my first and foremost rule...
1. Do Not be a Hypocrite.
Ex. that would pretty much mean that anything i dispise or do not like done i would in turn not do it myself, and i would expect of anyone that i voluntarily assosiate myself with, to do the same.
Irony: my sister is one of the biggest hypocrites...lol...

I just absolutely love the color. It isn't a murky white with a yellow tinge - It's quite white, and yet pearlescent as well. There are different gradations of pearl, and the ones with the gold mica appear yellow. This one is blue/purple mica - much nicer. Not that bad to keep clean, either.
I only have two gripes with the color: 1) the gas cap cover doesn't match, because it was painted off the vehicle at the factory. This leads to a different refractive 'cast'. Two, if I ever have to do bodywork (shudder), matching pearl white is hard to the point of impossible - you'd have to repaint the whole side of the car.
But: I've had it now for 2 1/2 years, and love it.

i saw a white z here with the nismo spoiler and nice rims. it was badass.

lol..hey, I am pulling for myself on this one ! I just need a little mental push on this and am hoping for enough pos. comments on the ppw that I can show her and say..."see, these guys are experts and they know what they are talking about, besides how many women do you know, drive white cars " ? Ok, maybe I better not ask her that question ! I only have 13500mi. on my 03 and if they still have the 06ppw by Feb, I just might go for it .

Thanks for the post. It looks like a repo when you read the description. I like bluztrk wheels better too. Apparently the white 06 I was talking about is still available. I had bought my 03 in Feb ( winter time where I live ) and got a pretty good deal, maybe I will wait and see if it's still there by the end of next month and go from there.
