Holy Crap.
There was a accident on my normal route home. I usually take side streets, because I work 5 miles away from my house. An ambulance was speeding to get to the crash. I moved to the right (one lane of traffic each way). I thought I was going into the shoulder, but apparently a huge ditch.
You all know what happened next....a loud crack, or thump. It doesnt matter...it was horrible.
My car will be going to see my mechanic tomorrow, so that he can make sure everything is ok.
I hope it is...it was a pretty loud noise and it scared the #*!% out of me.

OK...first I did check it...right after it happened.
I could see no visual damage or harm. However the trained eye is better at picking up these things. I also do not have a car lift (eventhough, I am apparently a "rich snob").
My mechanic did take a look at it and that I scratch the hell under my under carriage and that I bent my cat a little. Nothing to worry about.
Speedster, I dont go to my medical doctor and ask him for legal advice. Nor do I got to my lawyer and ask him for medical advice. I am not a mechanic nor am I completely qualified to measure any excat damage set onto my car.
I thank you for your concern and in the future I hope that you are a little bit more tactful and intelligent befre speaking.
A rich snob would not buy a Z Base. He/she would also not modify it, because a rich snob does not neccesarily care about performance, yet rather appearance. They rather have the car for the sake of just saying they have that car.

true... i've heard quite a few dings and scrapes from the bottom of my car... so far none of which "from what i can tell" had any damage result...
I was staying at an RV park a couple nights ago... and i work at night midnight to 8 AM so i had to leave in while the gates were locked so there is an exit gate with anti-tire spikes for no entry... any way going over them in the correct manner the Z is still too low and the spikes retract and extend under the contours of the under carriage of my car making a clank-clank-clank-clank... all the way until my rear tires went over it... i F***ing HATED every second of it... and just because of my "run in" with the parks owner i never want to go there again anyway...
