Great Post! Good news story. Only wish they had interviewed more owners that were having problems. I am not sure of the date that video originally aired, but if that kind of publicity keeps UP, you can count on our RESALE value going no where but DOWN ! We all know the class action only benefits the lawyers, but it is worth it just to give Nissan a jab in the ass for thumbing their noses at their "valued customers" !

So does that mean they will the do the alignment over and over with no questions asked if we still fall under the 3yr warranty? the lemon law buyback is for kbb value?
A:
I love my Z...I bought with the expectation that I was not going to get rid of it for a long time.
I hope the problem gets resolve or magically disappears. I have 12,600 and had an alignment done about around 10,000 miles because of the growling.
the tech told me that an alingment had to be done on the car every year, religiously. Well whatever...my car will not see a nissan dealership for service and i guess i have to have the car aligned every so often.
I love the car and dont want to get rid of it!
I know many of you feel the same.
Great post, but very upsetting.

My take....we are never going to get anything out of Nissan. I also bought the car for the long haul so resale value means nothing to me. I generally keep cars at least five to six years. Even without the Nissan issue, the car would not be worth that much at any rate.
Everyone...just try to enjoy your Z. There is enough stress in life!

I also purchased (cash) my Z for keeping. My hope is we actually get sometime done and not just a couple of hundred dollars of coupons like they did in 1984 with my 50th Ann.
Even if this story causes our Z's resale value to drop, I am glad someone
finally did the story.
A:
I also want to keep my Z long-term (5-7 years). I hope this negative publicity motivates Nissan into action, as they have other models to sell. I've considered a Nissan truck as a second vehicle, but I'll wait to see how they handle this.

If you hold on to your Z long enough and keep your mileage low...
you could do well.
I am with you on this one. NO fn way is this class action suit going to do anything good for us 350z lovers!
I was just sharing information. I love my car and will deal with buying a set of front tires every year.
