Plenum?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Has anyone bought an aftermarket plenum?

I have heard others talk about this part.

If so what does it do and is it worth the money?

Thanks

It wasn't the Crawford plenum that was cracking. It was the Kinetix plenum, which is plastic. The Crawford is metal. I have the Crawford package, plenum, cats and headers and it works great. I also have the Technosqaure ECU reflash which helps them work better.

Injen CAI
Borla TD Exhaust
Crawford Plenum, Cats, Headers and Strut Bar
Nismo Suspension, LMGT4 wheels, clutch and flywheel and cams
StopTech BBK, 332mm front and 328mm rear
Technosquare ECU Reflash

How many hp do you think you gained by adding it?

Was it hard to install?

Kinetix worked out their cracking problems - my V4 has been perfect after the V3 cracked. It is made out of a resin-type compound, don't think you would call it plastic, but it reduces weight and sheds heat pretty well.

Easy install, less than two hours first time for a novice like me, less if you know what you are doing. I can do it now in less than an hour.

I haven't heard of any v4 Kinetix plenums cracking.
