Not buying the Z

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I have had eight Z cars and was very excited about the 350 coming out. When people first started talking about the feathering a little while after the 350 came out, I figured it was a 1st model year issue and would be quickly fixed. I can't believe that Nissan still hasn't cured this problem, and that customers are expected to buy a new set of tires every 12K miles or so, plus put up with the noise and vibration. Anyway, I have pretty much given up on ever owning a 350Z. I wonder how many sales Nissan has lost over the feathering issue...

I faced the same decision earlier this year, and have bought a '05 track model, knowing that i may have to face this issue. could not find another car that appealed to me like the Z, and i don't regret it so far, one more monthly payment a year should cover the tires :)

I'm a lifetime non-buyer of anything Nissan over the feathering issue. My problem is Nissan's continued defiance to actually fix the car so I'll be buying from companies that actually honor their warranties on what they sell you.

It is a big disappointment to me because Nissan is capable of doing better. I bought a new Maxima in 1999 and it has been the best car I have ever owned. With 80K miles, I have had zero problems and the car still runs like new (no squeeks either). I bought the Maxima after speaking to many, many people at work. I heard nothing but positive comments from all the Maxima owners I talked to. ... If only they made it in a convertible!

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.
You say that you're a "lifetime non-buyer of anything Nissan". So to me, you're saying that you've never owned Nissan in your lifetime?
If so, then why are you on this forum?
I'm not trying to be mean, but what you're saying doesn't make sense because you seem to be contradicting yourself.

I'm in love with my Z.

I love the way she moves.

I love the way she looks.

I love the way she holds me.

I love the way she is always there when I need her.

Most of all, I love the way she excites me when we are alone together. ;)
