hey guys i just posted a couple days ago on the sway bars, and i was wondering what is the best way to lower the car and how far to actually go. does anyone have any suggestions on this and maybe have any pics. i see that there are a lot of drop springs out there, but if i get a drop spring, don't i need to get the struts as well or is a one inch drop not gonna hurt the stock shock? that and is the inch drop really noticeable, cuz it doesn't seem like a lot. thanks for any info. justin

Hey justin. Youll get tons of different opinions on this topic. My350z.com has thousands of post and info on this topic. Most people that dont want to spend 1000$+ on their suspension just go with springs. Stock shocks work fine with .25-1 inch drop. I just got the hotchkis springs and the most they lower is 3/4 inch. That looks swet and is way low enouh for me. Personally I wouldnt want to go any lower, say 1 inch with the Eibach springs. any thing over 1 inch and your asking for trouble with alignments and tire wear withoiut getting camber kits and stuff. Go to 350zonlinestore.com, stillen.com, or intensepowersports.com and look at their suspension section. Good sites to research different springs. Good luck. BEN

i bet he does, but he has never dropped a 350Z before. Its low already in stock form. 1 inch is a pretty big drop. I would still say nothing over an inch, 3/4 inch prefered. BEN

thanks ben, that helps out a lot. i am new at this looking around stuff for the 350z. i love the car. it handles nice stock, but i love and have that itch to corner and go faster. ask scotty he would tell you. hahaha that and my sis, she found out first hand when she came to visit me here in jersey. thanks again and i will let you know what i do and get some pics out to all yo guys here. thanks justin
