Squeaky Brakes

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

CantZmee,

I noticed the same issue with my 2005 Touring model with 5800 miles as of one week ago here in NJ. I think the brake squeaking is probably caused by the cold weather.

Sometimes just lubing up the where the pads slide, AKA: slides. This will sometimes will make the squeaking go away. ;)

However, this time of year it is just a light rust for the mosture that sets in over night on the rotor and gets burned off after the first couple of stops.

Show up after driving in the rain and parking it in a warm garage overnight.

It is worth the 45mins or so to relube them so that I know.
