nissan customer service

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I recently contacted nissan customer service about the tire situation. I was not upset with nissan until after I talked to them. I have a 04 Roadster. Three sets of tires in 22000 miles. I was told that even though my tires were wearing out at three times the normal rate, that Nissan has determined that the 04's do not have the feathering problem, therefore I do not have a feathering problem. She would not tell me how long Nissan would replace the tires nor how to fix it, because I did not have a problem. Has anyone else ran into this stone wall. I have contacted the Department of Transportation and am going the route of it being a safety issue. I would suggest anyone having feathering problems to do likewise. They seemed very interested in it and have already followed up with some paperwork. BlueGhost

Have you gotten a front end alignment? That seemed to help with my car.

Yes i have hit the same brick wall, it's like you're talking to a child.
I have an o4 and have the same problem. They don't give a shiznet.
with an o4 like me your free tires ran out at 12,000 miles. Ntsb good place to start also check out the lawsuit....

DocsZ,
Did you get an alignment at the Nissan dealership or an independent auto shop? Also, did you specify to them the alignment specs that seemed to work for a former poster on this forum? I believe Newbie#350z had posted some alignment specs.

A:

I had an independent shop check the alignment and they said that it was ok. Nissan then did the alignment and replaced the tires. Haven't had a problem since, but then only have about 2000 miles on the new tires. So time will tell.

Tried to get them to replace my tires about three different times.
I was told to get in touch with the tire manufacture and I did and they told me to get in touch with nissan and i did and they told me there was nothing they could do for me.
I felt dizzy dealing with these f*cks.
I guess they decided that they had spent to much money on tires for the 03's so knowing there is no fix for this crap they would just say the 04's don't have the problem that makes the problem go away for them but how many that have dealt with nissan c.s. would buy another product from them?not I and any of you guys that claim to never have had this problem I don't think you know what you are looking for.
My dealer let me test drive four different z's after i fist had this problem and everyone had the same to different degrees and he told me everyone he has seen has it.
So if you don't have it you will.
