I said that yo!!! napa brand chrome cleaner... i also said it eats through superficial layers of such applied surfaces... If you recall... i used it on a stained finish wooden table... after i was done the stain finish was gone... nothing but wood left... it's good stuff if you want to get VERY tough grime off of something... I used it on my tailpipes... in a very small amount... like a quarter size on a 14X12 cloth shamois and with a shoe shine type motion polished the pipes... looked good once i got done...
