A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I tried to put an optima battery in my z, but the terminals were not on the right side. I would have had to modify all those wires that connect to it.

You may as well buy a new battery, once most car batteries die they are dead, period.

...and be sure not to buy a cheap car battery... go by lead weight not brand name.

I have a few and I don't play with as often as I would like. Unfortunately, unable to access electricity for a trickle charger for all of my toys. But, even though they were dead and would not start with a jump from either another vehicle or my jumper box, they are doing just fine after putting them on a charger. I thought for sure I would have to spring for 3 batteries. Especially after none of them would start with a jump. They were totally dead and lifeless. Now they are all starting up without a problem and I am trying to give them all some of my time. And none needed a new battery.

Even though all seems fine--and it probably is--you might want to buy a cheapo battery electrolyte tester--the turkey baster with little balls :-) and make sure they're going to hold a charge. Sometimes you can resurrect a battery, only to be surprised when you least need a surprise.
