I agree, F1 tires and what we use are as different as night and day. For one thing, they have to guess how soft the compound needs to be for a given event, based on the track surface and expected temperature.

it's NOT the tires it's the car. The same stock Bridgestones are on other cars without feathering. Mazda RX8 for one.
