A&Q about 350Z
Q:

For those of you who prioritize cosmetics over performance, please do not read what I recently installed to my 2003 350Z and save your money for a Nismo Oil Cap.

Installed on Thanksgiving weekend 2005:

1) Multivexx mirrors: no more blind spots: $69

2) Rogue Short Shifter: so quick & smooth that I smile each time I shift: $180 (ebay one sucks!)

3) Koni Adjustable Shocks F&R: $720 from Summit Racing (no more bounce, smoother high speeds, fully adjustable, remarkably comfortable, lifetime warranty)

4) Hotchkiss Sway Bars F&R: $280 on eBay (now cuts into turns quicker w/ better weight transfer)

All prices include shipping.

- Stock springs were good enough for now.
- Sparco 5-point seat belt to be installed soon & need hardware.
- Will add a switch to deactive the drivers front air bag.

My Z still needs a performance alignment but it already feels like it is on rails. My Falkens FK-451's have a wear rating of 280 which with all the other handling upgrades will hopefully get me to 1 full lateral g. Time to hook up the G-tech Pro and and dial it in now.

Plus just ordered EBC Green Stuff Brake pads.

Harbor Freight's jumbo aluminum racing jack was a nice xmas gift for me too.

I'll be ready my 2nd track day soon. :-)

It would appear I have much more work to do.

Good luck at the track.

Good price for those Konis. Keep us posted on how the shocks and sways hold up on the track. I refuse to take mine back to the track until I perform similar suspension upgrades. As for the EBC's, good luck with yours, I just took mine off after 3 months. I was not impressed. I didn't notice any less brake dust, no noticeable improvement in stopping force, my brakes started squeaking which they had never done before, and I have significant rotor wear.

holy cow when i first read your post and how much you paid for the koni's, my first thought was man you got raped cause i know for the z32 they are only like 110 each, well i have a whole sale account through optauto.com so i did a search and man i didnt know they were that much for the 350z. good luck with them and i hope they last you for a while.
