Got my Z a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately it came with a front license plate holder and a dealer license plate (not required in TN). Of course they drilled 4 holes in the front of my new car. First thing I did was remove the plate holder and go on the hunt for a way to fix my bumper. Here is what I found: hole plugs.

They have lots of colors and there blue was the same color as my Z (got lucky), but was prepared to use touch up paint. I used E9000 indoor/outdoor gel glue. This glue does not ever get hard like regular glue. I filled the holes with the gel and inserted the plugs. It sure looks better than holes or front license plate holder. What do you think??

Looks better than holes....however I WOULDNT have holes in my front end unless I had to have a plate there!

I made sure they didn't put on my front plate holder.
I bought the optional one that fit in the tow hook hole and use it when needed. ;)

yeah i would have yelled at someone if they stuck a license plate there and drilled on my car... they would definalty either had to put up with a LOT of S*** outta me or replace the bumper... but they did their best to screw up my rear bumper though... they drilled the screw on so freakin tight that it broke the plastic U-nut and made it to where i couln't get the plate off!!!
i had to literally cut my license plate off the car and then trim the screw hole on my back bumper to get the screw out... pathetic... anyways i used my other plate and then new license plate frame that i bought to cover all that crap up... (which some jack ass just stole BTW)

Weird... my Z never had the license plate holder put on it, but it has these dimples where I think that the license plate holder would go. But it is just that DIMPLES not really holes.... looks like came from the factory like that. I am thinking about getting the bumper repainted and getting those covers up.

hey.... I got pulled over.... in texas... does anyone know how to put the stupid plate on..... I'd like to be able to take it on and off as I please... I can't figure out how to assemble it...
And I just don't want to start drilling holes in my bumper...
from the 4 plugs from above.... looks like I have a lot of drilling to do...

i got my z in texas too but the dealership stuck one on the front and handed me the other plate...
are you asking how to assemble the tow hook attachment license plate frame???

Texas 'law' requires to have the 2 plates on the car...
Man, that bites...
I've got the cover and mounting plastic plate, but I was just wondering if anyone installed it from underneath... so that the holes will be hidden...
Sorta the holes being perpendicular to the bumper on a 90 degree angle.
