yea it would have been much more original and less cliche had they left that gimmicky song out.

oh man, thanks for those vids...i know i saw those original threads but i never watched the vids. Damn, either welcome to the jungle or back in black would be my choice. I kind of see what they were going for with the original song(kind of trying to show the "daily drive" that we always do as something fun and different with the Z or whatever) but man that commercial with some of those different songs gave me the chills. Is there any way you could make one with no song at all, just the straight up engine/car sounds?
just watching the AC/DC version and man it woulda been so perfect if when the car goes through the tunnel it switched from red to black instead of black to red.

And I'll let you in on a secret, all the car sounds you hear from my videos were actually ripped from "The Drive" DVD, for the 350z put out a long time ago. And I added a bit of Bling Bling to the Nismo, if you compare the Nissan original to mine. I had a lot of fun doing it.

awesome, you're the man. I defintly like the non-song version alot but it may have been a little grating for the average watcher from a marketing standpoint. However they defintly would have been better off with one of the songs you spliced in.
hahaa, just about ask if you posted these at my350Z, and low and behold you just did. you should start a new thread with those vids.
