Hi fellow Z lovin' criminals,
My 6th gear was grinding last week, and it turns out that the synchros were messed up and they're going to replace the entire transmission. I have an '03 touring, and I think that this was kind of common for these cars.
Anyway, I was wondering- the service guy said that they've fixed the problem, but I've heard of at least one guy who has had to replace the thing twice.
Is there anything I should be concerned with?

yeah get an extended warranty.you may have problems later.

Always nice when the dealership fixes things like they're supposed to. An extended warranty might be a good idea, but i guess it really depends on how much warranty is still left. You can always purchase the extended warranty later.
