A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have the Max Ground System from Z-Enterprises bought from Courtesy.
I like the chrome mylar sleeving which is suppose to insure a longer lasting finish. They come in several colors.
It's not suppose to fade or turn yellow like a lot of the ordinary ground wires. They have 24 kt. gold plated copper ring terminals and each end is professionally crimped & heat shrunk before the black boot cover is applied over. Just makes the engine bay really dressed up!
My SB ZR still feels like HEAVEN....what a wild ride!

The grounding kit actually does increase performance, not of the engine, but of the ECU. Many of the engine sensors receive their ground signal by simply connecting the device to the chassis or other main engine/drivetrain component. A good grounding kit can increase the accuracy of sensor signals from sensors as well as minimize crosstalk and electric noise caused by static.
While grounding kits will definitely enhance the electronics, its not something most people would ever notice while driving unless their factory grounding system was severely corroded before they replaced it. It has been said to smooth out idles and increase responsiveness of engine to throttle, but I can't testify to that, I've never installed on a 350Z. I made my own grounding kit recently for my 300ZX, but my Z hasn't been driven in 10 months because its been down for complete overhaul so I couldn't tell you if it helped or not.

If you have any understanding of electronics you will see the importance in a good ground.
I deal with industrial electrics every day and you wouldn't believe the things a bad ground (or ground loop) will cause.
Like others are saying though, on a brand new engine you will likely not see any differance.
Unless the 350Z has bad grounding to begin with (which I can't comment on)
I do like the looks of kit.
