Not really. If a car has serious performance mods, it still looks dumb with a simulated carbon fiber hood and "powered by X" stickers. Why pollute a decent car with that junk?
The bottom line is this: if your car is really modified, you don't need to advertise fake features that aren't there, since people will know when it crushes them.
The fake "bling" stuck all over the car like an xmas tree implies that the owner isn't happy with the car, because he secretly wishes it had a real carbon fiber hood, or a real racing harness. That's lame. Go out and buy a real one and get some weight savings. Instead of a StopTech sticker, buy some real StopTech brakes.
All you need to know: Performance speaks, but Rice brags.

the cars are sponsored, notice the Z has a huge ass endless BBK. when they go to shows and stuff they need to have it on the car. Im not sure what your talking about with simulated carbon fiber, the hoods are real CF(and the hood pins are a ligit safety feature), whether its worth the minute weight savings is up to you. the graphics on the car are all from products that they use and or are sponsored by.

i gotta agree with you z32dood... there are way too many people running around town with AEM, HKS and all that on their cars... not to mention the EVER HATED "APC" stickers all across their front windshield... in my mind i'm always thinking... do these guys know that APC is like the walmart brand of cor products? correct me if i'm wrong but i believe they simply jumped into the game after car modding went trendy... great thanks to TFATF...
anyways... i can understand sponsored cars that need to advertise their used products... but just simple people slapping stickers on their cars too look cool... is just completely the opposite IMO... actions speak louder than words... show me you have that... don't just tell me...
that reminds me of when i wen into the car audio section at circuit city... they had those "bee in a beer can" mufflers and cheap honey-comb type intake filters for sale there... i asked if they actually mad any sale on those and they were suprisingly high...
