Anyone with an 05 with the Bose 6CD system ahve any idea if it has the AudioPilot? If so can you turn it on and off?

I have an '05 and it does have the audiopilot.
Here is a link to the owners manual. You can find out how to turn it off/on in there.
Read page 4-20 in the manual.

I have mine on but it doesn't work. I even tried a test with a db meter. The test was with an air drill which makes a lot of noise put under the steering wheel next to the microphone. The volume in the car or at least the door speakers didn't change. I'm planning to bring it to the dealer next week.

My new Mazda 6 has a Bose with the auto pilot tied into the car speed and 3 sensitivity level settings. Works much better than my Z Bose with the mic ever did (before it was disabled during the last warranty Amp swap out).

If you don/t want the audiopilot to dampen your sound... place a peice of
electricians tape over the microphone under the steering wheel...
