A&Q about 350Z
Q:
This is a serious question.
When I am using my cd player and accelerate pretty good or take a sharp corner the driver side speakers pretty much stop working, a little bit of sound comes out but not much.
Then when I hit the brakes a little hard the full volume comes back.
I am not making this up, I am being serious.
Have any of you had problems with your Bose CD player.
My car is a 2004 Touring with about 17,000 miles.

Thank you for the advice, now I have an idea on what to tell the dealer. I did not know that our radio would adjust for road noise and all that.
I am taking it in next week, I will let you know what they say.

If its from the Audio Pilot, you may be able to turn it off from your Audio button on the BOSE system. That will get you covered until you get the microphone fixed by your dealer. The setting is described in my OM. I know I can on my '06 Touring Z.

I have a 05 anniversary with the 6CD Bose but I am not aware of the auto pilot, where do I find this?

i was always wondering what that was??? it really pissed me off too i'm a very particular audiophile...
I even equalize and adjust the settings of my music before i record them on CD... (they have better output and sound if you do)

I find that if I hit the side of the console the left channel immediately returns. Second Nissan I have owned with this issue.
Every replacement Bose radio installed had the same issue eventualy with our without the AVLS enabled or not.

Bose needs a good spank'en. I've read a lot of postings and it would be hard pressed to say all of them are not true. While all my settings seem to work okay I would agree with a few posts that the mids and highs are screwed up some how. This goes for the '06 line too! Where's the rich clean sounds? Maybe I should replace the speakers with Infinity's! I think I've got some tweaking to do before I do that though. Damn, just got this machine three days ago!

stranger808: what you say is completely true i've done that too!!! LOL... i found it ridiculous that we should pay ~30K for a car and have to beat the radio into submission :-)
