Guys, that's a new material starting to be used in manufacturing.
It is Titanium Glas. Really cool stuff. It's Titanium stranded fiberglas blended with a polycabonate. That is why it isn't completely transparent. The material is very expensive. It can be machined just like aluminum. It is brittle however. It isn't DOT approved I am sure. Frankly, I do not know how this guy got the blanks. It looks like he just used a three piece wheel and replaced the center with the Titanium Glas.
