I have to admit, the DB and LeMans are great colors. May all of you who own a LeMans take care of that piant! It looks great now, but I can see some owners letting the paint get dull and they'll end up looking like crap in ten years. But as long as you put Liquid Glass on the car regularly and keep it covered most of the time, it'll still be a great color.

I didnt really have a choice of color when i bought mine, i have chrome silver and love it though. Im not saying its the best color but it looks classy and doesnt show dirt at all which is nice. Ive seen my fair share of Z's though and if I had my choice Id go with DB. Its a really bright blue so it stands out but its a deep color so it cleans up really nice and isnt a "cartoon" type blue if you can understand that. I like redline as well the only thing that gets me with that is that the color matches the taillights(which are one of my favorite parts of the car) so well that they dont have a nice contrast and its hard to see the shape of the tails.

Years ago I bought a '72 240Z in Datsun orange that really needed painting. I had '78 Corvette Red applied and it was really, really poke you in the eye red.
When the 350Z came out and I saw it at the 2001 LA Auto Show, I knew I had to have one, and I knew it had to be red. The Nissan site in January 2002 had about a 1/4 inch square color sample to look at (not even a click on this to see what your car will look like) and I went for it.
For the next 7 months my wife and I looked at every red car passing by, critiquing the "redness" and hoping our Z would come in and be a RED that matched our expectations.
And it did. It's red. It's the red right in the middle of the red color spectrum from which all other reds are based. Not the poke you in the eye red from my '72, but perfect, perfect red. And it shows off the lines, contours, and shapes on the Z very well.
I guess I could have stopped with the "Redline" in the subject line. Sorry to run on.

Chrome silver and yes it is very classy and It is always bright and shines like the way I want. I am in love with it, never had a silver color car before and nissan has done a fantastic job on this shade of silver.

well mine is white and to be quite honest i like it cause it is low maintaince.
i am a very busy individual and do not have time to go to car wash every other day to clean and polish.I think the white makes the car look a lot more expensive than it actually cost and lets face it the 350z is a pretty cheap car for what what you get. That is why they are selling like hotcakes!! All in all they ALL look good ...my 2 cents...v8-z

LeMans Sunset. (Colour Code A17).....
Why:
1) Owning a Z car is a distinct religion. That colour is distinct. How many car companies offer a car in orange. Chevy does now...
2) I am an individualist. I am against the grain. This colour enforces this. I am a non conformist and never wish to fit in. My A17 Z is defines me.
3) I'm a transplanted Canuck in Houston. There are a trillion 350Z here. Every other one is grey or silver. Not only does my Z (pronounced ZED) stand out as a car from all other cars, it stands out from all other 350Zs.
4) It's a bold colour. The perfect hue to mix sexiness, sleek seductive style, lines...
5) That colour shouts EGO. And being a Z owner I am an Egotist.
6) The colour is complementary to my Brembo brakes. It's the colour of my Listerine, my tooth brush, my wife's toe nail polish... etc...
7) The 1999 350Z concept car was orange.
8) with a thousand coats of Zaino (thanks to you guys for letting me know about that product) MY Z LOOKS LIKE LIQUID COPPER.....
9) The 2003 350Z LeMans Sunset TRACK Edition, is THE model for the majority of the advertisements when that car came out.....
10) And the most important of all... I wanted that model in that colour...
I have tremendous respect to the Brickyard (Colour Code AX8) Zs....
They have the rarest of all colours... And I will purchase a Brickyard 350Z once this one is paid off....
I am obsessive about my car's colour.
I didn't need the Nismo Air Intake....
I didn't need the Nismo Exhaust.....
I didn't need the 300 horsepower.....
I didn't need the 18 inch rims....
I did need the colour, the stick, the brakes, the CD player and all packaged in the sexist car on the road today.....

Too many... Every piece of junk out there have copied that color, Ford focus, Dodge neon, PT cruiser, Pontiac vibe, Saturn, chevy HHR and so on but none of them is exact shade Thank god for that. I agree with you about the color and I love that color too how ever I didn't choose it because I thout it was too flashy, but I may go for it next time when I get my roadster in spring.

My Z just came in. Saw it yesterday still wrapped up. Took a look under the plastic and the Magnetic Black has a very nice metal flake in the black. The black is a tad lighter the Super Black color. Later on I will see it cleaned and polished from the dealer. The jury is out but so far looks good.

DO NOT let the dealer clean and polish your car. They'll lay a buffer to it and it will never be right again.
