Go figure...talked with a 05 Roadster owner this afternoon. Nice Black one. Just had her rear tires replaced at 17,000. Front tires still ok acording to her. Thats a switch.

well they were replaced because they were worn out not cause they had feathering. My rears were shot at 19k miles. The potenzas have a crappy tread wear rating, but it depends on how you drive the car.

Well. I replaced my factory tires at 24,000 miles on my 2003 tourning. The fronts were still good but the rear's were down to the tread wear patches.. Never had a feathering problem.. I now have over 39,000 miles on the car and the Michlin Pilot's are fantastic.. They should have been standard on the "Z"
