I have been thinking that the Enthusiast would give me those basic extras that I really need over the most basic model; but after driving a couple of Z's with leather seats, I really like the leather. Judging from the Nissan company website it doesn't indicate you can upgrade the seats on the Enthusiast, can you? Would you just have to go to the Touring? Any suggestions?

you can upgrade...not through "nissan"
but your dealer should offer some "genuine nissan leather seats"

nope you cant get leather on the enthusiast, however you can get aftermarket leather for around $5-700 that will look pretty much stock

I love the stock leather seats on my touring 350z.
But as you know, be sure to keep in mind- they're COLD in the winter (by the way the stock heated seats suck compared to other cars' heated seats) and HOT HOT HOT in the summer.
But I would still rather have the leather! Can't beat the luxurious and buttery feeling of it.
Like the other guys/gals said, it's easy to put in aftermarket leather seats. I've seen plenty of Enthusiast models which have them.
Hey, on a side note- I drove a loaded g35 and it's interesting that the driver's side seat on that car has only a one-way power seat whereas the 350z has a 3-way power seat. You'd think the g35 would have the extra 2 ways on their power seat as opposed to the Z.
