A&Q about 350Z
Q:
$175...is that too much to pay? Is it even a good idea, or should I go with another brand?
If the OEM is priced too high but is the best option, where can I get one for cheaper?
Thanks.

Ive used the cheaper ones. You get what you pay for. If they are exposed to the elements even for a little bit .. they crack - fade and leave wonderful fairy dust all over your car when removed. The cheap ones suck - stay away.

Thanks for the input...however, I guess what I am saying is, is $175 a good price for an OEM car cover, and is that a good car cover (that won't do what Zazupilot just described)? How much are they from a dealer?

Just like Zazupilot says. There are all kinds of covers with different materials. I bought my from Mine is especially for the 350Z roadster and they one for the 350Z coupe too. Also courtesy parts has one for about $198.00 & a lotta guys like that one too! Do some research & take your time before you buy one.
My SB ZR still feels like HEAVEN....what a wild ride!

Coz sells the Stillen one

I bought it within a week of picking mine up in Aug 02 and have not regretted it. It's lightweight, protects well, and fits perfectly. Courtesy seems to have competetive pricing.

Try these guys.

jmark,
Do you know if that cover there is good for winter storage? Some of these covers, expensive ones included are not good in the snow.

I bought one with the car since I knew I'm storing the car most of the year and I think I paid more than $175 for it more like $220 but I would not buy any other product that claims to be like the original. I'm very happy with it and I highly recomen it if you care for your car.
