Hey I'm new to this forum and just purchased my new 06' silverstone z from the dealer yesterday. Just wanted to see how much some of ya'll paid for yours so I can compare. Is $28,550 driveout sound like a good deal or did I pay to much? Thanks

mine had 115 miles on it (not demo car) 6spd. the thing is mean...im still learning how to drive stick on it but its soooooooo much easier then driving my brothers integra gs-r 5spd...i guess the Z short shifter has a lot to do with it.

Yeah...she will grow on you. The engine sounds so sweet after you break it in too.
I am running Mobil 1 oil right now and I SWEAR to you guys that the engine really sounds happier, cleaner, and more aggresive on Mobil 1 synthetic. And it feels cleaner too.

I thought that offering cash for my '03 would be incentive to get a better deal but here in PA it didn't mean squat. My salesman told me that the dealership actually prefers people to finance the car and they (the dealer) gets some form of incentive on the back end from the finance company. I still paid cash to avoid the finance charges. I'm curious since Pony Killer's Mom did the dealing is she paying for it too?
2003 Redline Touring

I got my 2003 Touring last April with 11,500 miles, and paid $26,500 to a private seller.
I'm now up to 15,000 miles, but it still feels new!
And it's paid off!

See that's why I'll never buy a new car off the lot. I got my 03 SS 350Z with all the trim (minus Nav & leather), in September of 03, it had 7,062 miles on it and I got it for $22,500. Forget about paying dealer mark ups and all that bs. I bought it from a family who didn't need it anymore due to a family emergency. While it wasn't 'showroom' new, I was glad to pay thousands less for a car that was still fully covered by the manufacture's warranty.

haha i wish my mom was that nice...but she just co-signed for me and i make the payments on my own. and just out of curiousity, for those of you under 24 how much is your car insurance per month if you have a good clean record?

I'm right around 800 per 6, we're all going to differ on this, but you should expect anywhere from 120-200 a month. Depends on your deductibles too, it's hard to give you an idea when we all may have different coverage details...

im 22 and paying on 2 vehicles, my vert and a f250, with a shitty and i mean shitty record i pay 125 every 6 months,for both- but my vehicles arent new, they are paid off and thats just liability

I'm 22, have full coverage and i'm paying about $169 a month (mercury insurance co.). No points and no tickets on my record aswell. Like CantZmee i'm financing my '06 Z in my name with no co-signer. Lol i also got all this student loan crap i have to take care too...
