A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hello all, been a few weeks since i picked up my z.Still having a blast, the look and fell of the car is amazing.I had a 280z back in the day and always wanted another one.But you know how things go the wife wanted a bigger car.I am so glad i waited the new style is fantastic.I like the forum and find ideas and opinions i can use.The only problem is all the bitching going on and on about the 350z.Is this a forum for the car or against it?All cars have some problems,i haven't owned one yet that was perfect.Just my rant for the day, have a good evening.

I agree with every word.

I'll kick it to the curb when the lease is up. This POS has lost so much value I can't trade it without paying about $6K to get out from it.
A:
Hope your next car experience works better for you.

I'm deciding between the Acura TL AND RL at this point. Honda honors their warranty. Besides, with 300 Hp in the Rl I'm not that much slower and riding in style!

I used to work in a Nissan and Mercedes dealership's service garage, and the 350z was very rarely in the shop. The reason I noticed this is because I got to drive all the cars that came in the shop and I looked forward to the 350z the most! And when they were it was for small things that were warranty issues. As much as I love the Titan they were in there a lot more! Mercedes also had a lot of new car customers in there as well. People just need to get over the fact that even though its a new car it will still need a little here and there. I hope you all enjoy your Z! While working there I also got to drive all the new Mercedes and I would take a 350z over any of them! Even the ones valued at $200,000 plus!

funny but i have had my 350z now for 3 years... ordered it in oct. of 02! it has never been in the shop except for aftermarket mods and oil changes...
Now I also have a friend who bought his 350z about 1 year after i did and has had to put 2 transmissions in it due to defect and a list of other problems... (he still loves the car though)
goes to show you can get a lemon, even new, out of ANY car company. You cannot judge the worth of an entire model of car by just 1 car...
I would understand wanting to get rid of the car if I had so many problems with it, but the 350z in my opinion is such a great sports car I would trade in the problem z for another Z...
u aint gotta go home, but ya gotta go from here.. cuz I'm gone in my Z
