A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I saw that power seats now comes standard on the Enth model. As well as 18" rims, and few other features that were mere options on the 03-05 model.
I don't know how i feel about this. It adds extra weight. I think they should at least offer a version that is as bare bones as possible for those folks who so desire (like me).
just a little thought...all aside, the '06's are great and I love the new color addition, the LED's are fine looking, and the 18" stock rims are making me jealous with my 17"s on my 05 enth. I guess that's kind of hypocritical though because the 18's add weight....I think they look great though!!!

Base trim rulez!! Lightest trim in the pack. Still far from what I would consider "bare bones" :-(
There are a lot of 18" aftermarket wheels available that are lighter than your 17"s and look better too. But good wheels are pricey, that's why mine still has stock shoes.

Ya, they did all of that and jacked up the price. An 06 touring roadster wich is exactly very same car as my touring coupe is with very same optins costs 5 grand more. That's crazy. You can't tell me it costs more because it's a roadster.

Hi,
I just got my '06 Z Magnetic Black (Base Trim) for around $26,900 + tax. The dealer gave me a deal on '05 Z (Base Trim) for $700 less etc if i would take it that same night. But i fell in-love w/ those new headlights/tailights/18" (shy 19") wheels. I think they only jacked up the price on Z roadsters.

You're paying for the material in the top and all the mechanisms that raise it and lower it. Roadsters are silly anyways: heavier, more expensive, less structural integrity, and quite honestly they look dumb with the top up. My question is this: why did Nissan ditch the t-tops on the 350???

i still think the roadster looks very wierd with the top up. but hey, if you wanna spend extra money to get a heavier car with worse aerodynamics, thats fine with me.
