45K miles on the '03 touring - and just as I started to get over my tire feathering issues by getting the high tread count tires - BAM!! New technical issue on my Z. It was a nice enough night; so I roll the windows down to get some fresh air coming in from Miami Beach this evening - when its all over, and I get home, the freakin driver side window is stuck and it will not roll back up (yes I made sure my window lock was not on) - damn - luckily I have a garage and won't have to worry about rain - but I am getting sick and tired of this - I love to hate the Z - don't you!
Off To the dealership.............again!!!

Common problem as you might already know. Its the motor. Mine did it for a few months off and on. All I did was slam my door hard and the motor would work again. Just brought it in to the dealer under warrranty, replaced with new motor for free. 19k miles 2003 Track

Zealous - LOL I cannot believe your suggestion actually WORKED!! I slammed my door 2x hard (not too hard), and my window closed again :-)
At least I am not as upset about it, and can sleep now. I will deal with this tomorrow.

grease streaks on the windows
broken change holder
broken cup holder
very loud intermittant squeak from rear passanger tire
brake squeak
clutch chatter
"why don't you go to a different forum? why don't you sell it if you don't like it" are the responses I expect to get from this post, and you're right!! I can't wait for the Supra to come out and blow this POS Nissan out of the water.

The reason I still drive my car everyday, is because the good things out weigh the bad.

Ours had that at about 7100 miles.
The service manager told me to hit the door panel on the inside about where the motor sists and it'll do the trick. Never did that though. He did order the new one right away.
Oh, I am getting new tires too at 8200 miles (03 preorder model).

Wow, I was just gonna bring this subject up, and here is the thread! My '03 pre-order touring with 12,700 miles on it has the same window problem, driver's side. They ordered a new motor for it today. First it went half way down by itself, then it stuck all the way up, then it fixed itself (ha ha) and worked ok for a few days, and then stuck in the down position - which ain't good. Naturally it's just 30 days past the 36 months so I'll be paying for this one...... still love my car, but???
