Ok I've got a question. New 350Z owner here and I've heard alot about "pop chargers." I've previously owned acuras and have always had cold air intakes. Does the pop charger have a higher hp increase versus say an injen cold air intake. If the pop charger is the way to go is the best by jim wolfe technologies?

cold air is the best way for hp increase. jwt popcharger doesn't provide cold air, it provides hot.

the pop charger is cool i like it.but my friend has a G35 with the stillen intake.he swears by it!i think the popcharger sounds bitchen and looks good under the hood.my $.02

The cold air I had in my RSX Type S sounded really good also. I saw that the injen is supposed to give an additional 11 to 13 hp. It's alot more expensive than the pop chargers though. Anybody on here with a cold air?

That is why I went with the pop charger because why would I want to spend double and get the basic same hp increase. It is also easier to install and clean when needed.

IF u like to remove the wheel just to put in a cold air intake vs just pop the hood open go ahead get the cold air instake. The gain are the same 0-5 hp.

Honestly, cold air intakes don't make much of a difference than a pop charger won't create. putting a nice high flow filter definitely helps, but its not going to make a leaps and bounds difference.
CAI really isn't worth the extra money, IMO.
