A&Q about 350Z

I let my dad drive the Z today and he parked it in the driveway in a relatively safe spot afterwards(but not where it belongs). And since my mother drives a giant boat called a "pacifica", which has horrible rear visibility, she came inside and delivered some bad news. She backed right into my car. She hit the driver's side door and the rear panel.... it looks pretty bad, about a two foot circle of destruction from the impact point.
I'm getting it fixed as soon as possible.... I'm just hoping it can be put back to "like new" without any major issues.
I'll try and get some pictures before the weekend is over.

You can't be mad at your Mom very long. She is a unique part of your life.

It's little comfort, MX, but your mom probably watched you break a few of her really special things over the years. And I'll bet she felt really, really horrible after she hit your car. I can picture my Mom coming in to tell me something like that. The good thing is you still have your mom around.
Good luck with the repairs. The body shop choice is the prime decision. Let us know how it goes, okay?

Oh I know, I'm not even mad at her, it's just one of those things where I'm mad at the situation, it's not like she would purposely damage something so important to me. She was very upset when she told me, I suppose I was very mad at the time but now it's fine... all my concerns are focused on the repair, I think a good body shop will come close to like new but I realize it will never be PERFECT.

A good body shop will get it back to new again. Like I said though a GOOD body shop. Lots of shady shops out there. I am currently working at a very good body shop. I have worked at a shop that wasn't quite quality oriented like we are now. Good looking picking a shop.

a good shop should be able to match black paint.....
now, anymore smartass comments?? haha, good! I'm mourning my damaged car, so words of encouragement are the only ones required.

good god, i didn't think you guys would get so jealous about a guy with a job for the past 8 years owning a Z....... if i ever see a younger guy than me with a nicer car i'll have to remember not to act like a child, because it's damn pathetic.
