I like the sound of my Borla True Dual. I didn't notice any power change. Then again I put my exhaust on with only 186 miles on the car so I don't any different.
I doubt you will notice any difference, plus or minus, when you change exhausts. It is such a mininal difference. Only a before and after dyno run would should a change that you could see on paper.

^^2nd... exhaust gains are so minimal the only considerations that really should be made is:
1) your overall direction you are going with the car. are you going FI? in that case i would definately ask more about compatibility in the sense that "would the exhaust you are purchasing give the best results with FI or not... avoid unnecessary purchasing.
2) If not going FI then which has the best sound, looks, ease of install, less parts. If you're installing it yourself, ease of install might play a great factor. less parts also for leak potential, more solid parts, less leak potential...
me personally i just like the look of the Injen layout... i'm kind of biased because of the single muffler the Borla has, in my eyes a true dual setup should have two completely seperate pipes, FRONT TO BACK... But i hear that X pipes help equalize pressure or something... so i'm researching that...
Now just for simple reason i am completly against H pipes... because to me logically... how well is exhaust going to flow around a 90 degree angle??? as opposed to a smooth transition of an X pipe? It looks to me like there would be unecessary back pressure...

The H-pipe is not there for flow. It simply allows the exhaust from both sides of the engine to mingle and therefore equalize pressures. In my opinion, this equalization makes a less "ricey" sound from the six cylinder in that it combines the sounds coming from the entire engine.
Go for the Borla. Looks great...Sounds great...Easy installation - a real bolt on without any modifications necessary.

the injen sounds better than the borla in my opinion.

Isn't an H-pipe for true dual exhaust? I think you're talking about an X-pipe where the exhaust from each side actually meets up.

h-pipe would essentially do the same thing and i never said that it was meant to "flow" because i know that they are only there to equalize the pressure... it also smooths idling... but what i was pointing out is the fact that it looks like with such a sudden change in direction... such as an H-Pipes 90 degree direction change... that the flow would be disrupted in such a way that it would create backflow...
AS OPPOSED to an X pipe... with has better flowing angles than the h pipe...
