A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Ok, I just want to say to those who DOUBTED that the suspension was the problem, and gave me crap for so long, this is an excerpt from the post below. They FINALLY REDESIGNED THE FRONT SUSPENSION IN '06. We'll find out more as this goes along, but remember: we knew this for a long time. Nissan denied it, then finally acknowledged it, now they have redesigned it. When it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck.
"Front Upper Control Arms are differnet! They look longer, No adjustment on them, but they look longer (need to measure some stuff when I get a car in the air)... It looks like there is some more caster! Once again I need to get a car in the air but it looks like it does... I couldnt get a good look at the spindle, but the lower control arm was definatly different as well... Looks like the complete front suspension is different with more clearance for greater steering angle... although when I turned th ewheel all the way over there didnt apear to be any more of a steering angle...
Im going to try to get a car up in the air tomorrow.... take some measurements, underbody pictures, hold up old suspension parts to new...
I will also check to see if we can fit the 06 front suspension to the 03-05... If they did not change the front suspension cross member it shouldnt be that hard... And most of our ball joints / bushings are cracked by now too (if we have high mileage 03's etc)..."

I think it's good news in a way, it means that the issue is with all probably solved in the 2006 models, and maybe older models can just be retrofitted. Isn't that what was really needed anyway? A fix? End of tire feathering complaints. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.
A:
Don't breathe too deep. Only miles will tell.

I have a 2004 350Z TOURING COUPE. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES AS WELL AS REAR SUSPENSION WITH THE CAR AND HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER AT LEAST 7 TIMES FOR THE BRAKES IN JUST A YEAR AND A HALF. HAS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAVE ANY SIMILAR PROBELMS AND IS IT NORMAL WHEN DOING A BRAKE JOB TO RESURFACE THE ROTORS EVERY TIME BECASUE ACCORDING TO NISSAN THAT IS THERE PROCEDURE FOR A BRAKE JOB ON A 350Z.
A:
Hey AC5150, why are you shouting with all those caps??? Sounds like you got a bum car or bad service techs. I haven't had any rotor issues, or rear suspension either.
A:
it's too bad I think I got both a bum car and the service at the nissan dealers has not been so good they give too many excuses but can't seem to fix the problem
