Again, everyone's car is different. My car is an early order too (#391) and yes I've had the tires feathering, but when I got mine replaced was right before reaching the 21,000 mile mark, while the replacement was still free to me. I could have easily have gone another 5,000 to 6,000 miles but then I'd be stuck paying a portion of the replacement tires, so I didn't want to. So now I'm at 34,000 and there is no sufficient signs of feathering (I run my fingers on the inside tires) to make me feel like I will need to take it in before October to get the tires replaced.
So my point is that yes some of them are bad (as in your example and many more) but for someone like ngm to make such a blanket statement that it's a lemon is ridiculous. I'm glad he sold it and if you are so pissed, then by all means sell it but why fan the fire by coming in here and talking $hit about the car that obviously we who still are on here still love?

First of all, you seriously need to calm down. This is a simple discussion. I believe you are failing to see this from both sides. I agree that you have the freedom to say what you want. But that also means that MAG has the freedom to respond how he wants. You accuse him of having thin skin...I believe he is merely standing up for the car he loves. Not all of these people here appear to have experienced the same problems as you. Your situation is indeed unfortunate. I have only had my car for three weeks and already I can't ever see my self letting it go. I think you are merely disgruntled, and therefore may harbor some bit of jealousy. So in other words. I mean how would you like it if an ex-boyfriend of your wife came by your family gathering and said how much of a slut she was when she was dating him and slept around all the time...that she was a terrible girlfriend and he's so glad he dumped her because she's a no good trashy bitch? I mean obviously it's not the same, but I'm sure if that was true (which I'm not saying it is since I obviously don't know you or your wife (if you're married that is)) I'm sure you'd prefer that he would keep his mouth shut since after all he is no longer part of her life and you still are, and you accept her as she is even if she still had some of the flaws or not.

Who paid for your Michelins? This is a joke. I have a Buddy with a 2000 Honda S2000 that has no problems or flaws whatsoever. No tire feathering, window streaks, chipping paint & windshield, transmission problems, electric window motor problems, rear window wiper problems, seat rattling problems, bose seat belt rattle problems, Bose stereo problems, rear axle clunk problems, etc. etc. etc. that plague this white elephant. The irony is, that when I expressed my doubts about pre-ordering the 2003 350Z because I was concerned about problems first production cars face, he replied, "Don't worry, given their past reputation for quality, Nisaan can't afford not to get this right." Another irony, is that his Honda S2000 was the first production year of that model without any problems. Please advise me, what and when when was the last production car with as many problems as the 350Z? If you choose live with this B.S. and let Niisan and Carlos Ghosn walk away with "record profits" at the expense of unloading this POS on you, well thats your business and your money. I am going to do you whatever a poor individual like me can do to arouse support for a concerted campaign to make Nissan atone and pay for this outrageous deception. If I sound pissed, well Hell Yes I am! Like I have said before, based on my positive experience with my 1992 Nissan pickup, I put my faith and trust in Nissan and they F..d me. Well, my position now is, F..k Nissan and Carlos Ghosn.

The 350Z is almost half as much as the Z32TT, so what do you expect?
Also the Z platform is used for many vehicles, and the Z32 was only for the Z alone...hence a drop in overall quality.
How can you expect Z32 quality at $26K?

last time i was at the dealer they mentioned the campaign with tires and alignment, that it had been extended. they asked if i had received the letter. i replied yes and i threw it out. the rep said my last alignment would be covered and he called nna and got the ball rolling for the reimbusement. when i got home i faxed all the appropriate documentaion. that was three weeks ago. no response as of yet. when i was at the dealership the rep put me on the phone briefly to answer several questions nna had. previously to this scenario i had mentioned i had faxed all the appropriate docs for my 2nd tire reimbursement 2 times with no response as well. NNA is a waste of time and energy. pick your battles wisely. i will be getting rid of my 03 soon.

Its funny because a fully loaded Z31 was around 24K 20 years ago, which compared to the cars of its time was very exspensive for just a "sports car" The Z31 was a very technologically advanced car for its time with fully digital interior, power every thing, adjustable suspension,G force meter, and in turbo form corvette speed and handling.
Now fast forward 20 years and you have the 350Z, pretty simplistic, nothing too evolutionary about it, still only 27K in base form which isnt that high compared to other sports cars in its class, it dosnt even compare to the corvette in any aspect. And as far as quality its already falling apart where as many Z31's are still on the road in good condition such as mine, these cars may not be Z32 quality but the Z31 is still holding up very good for its age, something the 350Z just wont do.

red you can't be serious have you even driven a 350.my buddy has two z31's both very nice.but i would take my 350 over either one of them anyday.the z31's are plagued with ecu problems as they age.same with the 280zx turbo's these cars have gremlins just like any car.i understand ngm's situation but hey he sold the damn car and now it's time for him to move on.why beat a dead horse and you own a z31 the biggest ugliest turd out of the Z family.your coming on hear disrespecting the 350 thats a laugh.my 70 240 was nicer than any z31 i've ever seen and my buddy usually wins first place every time were at an event.my 350 is nicer than just about any z31 i've seen.it's the lines of the car the symetry and beuty that the z31 never had.i will agree with you though the z32 is an awesome looking car but i would still take my 350 over it.even those cars have problems and very costly.

thats what you get when you have 20 more yrs of engineering. Alot of parts are the same(in different shapes and form) and from the same manufactures. Better materials as well.Just learning from the past. Any newer car will be better than one from 20-30 yrs ago :)
