Lesson learned - Nervous Part 3

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Heh guys and gals...well hopefully this is the last chapter in my adventures to make my "Z" a bit more unique than the others on this island.

Went to the dealership Friday afternoon to pick up my car. Arrived a bit early as it was a Friday afternoon, and I work/reside almost an hour away. When I arrived, car was off of the lift, nowhere to be found. By this time, my persona was well known to the staff, so immediately they informed me that the tech had taken the car on a test drive to check everything out.

About 15 mins later here it comes, rounding the corner. Did it sound nice. Tech introduced himself....explained that he had never done an install like this before, thus it was challenging. Initially, could not understand why I wanted to undertake the changes, but after taking out for the "test spin", now understands...totally.

Took the Service Department staff almost 15 mins to complete my paperwork, which made me nervous. Finally, I heard them page me to report to the office. Nervously I responded and was presented a huge stack of paperwork. Looked at the bottom line, and the charge for having the car there for 4 days and installing the mods came up to $595. Almost $300 less that that I was quoted, and signed for. That made my Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Couldn't start smiling....and the grin got even larger after starting her up and driving out of the dealership.

Guy's thanks for everything, for being there, and being on this website. Your support truly helped.

Aloha,

Tsss
