Sorry Iceman PR but the G35 coupe does feather

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I couldn't get the reply to message to work in my original thread, so I had to create a new one. The g35 coupe did the exact same thing to the tires as the Z, and I have read this on G35 forums. I owned one ! I also owned a pre-order Z. Trust me, they have the same effect on the front tires. You own a g35 sedan, not a coupe. Why are people so eager to discredit anything someone has bad to say about these cars? It is not in our imaginations that this is happening ! I, after having my Z do this, am the last one on this earth to have wanted the exact same thing to happen with my G35 coupe. I loved those cars ! You are a fool to not believe Nissan is trying to hide this fact. Look how long it took them to acknowlege the Z's problem. Known problems cost them big money, and they will do everything in their power to glaze it over. End of story.

Does the sedan have the same problem?

LOL, and we all didn't know this. Give me a break! The G35 is the same car as the Z in many ways. (BIG BROTHER)

Like I said in the other thread:

"I don't think NIssan is doing a great job of keeping anything hushed, it's just not a big issue with G35's."

I never said that feathering was impossible, but your putting it like the G35 is just as bad as the Z when it comes to feathering and that is just plain Bogus. True they are based off the same platform but they are not the same car as mentioned by Solidus. Among other things, the suspension set up, tires, weight, weight distribution, wheel base and length which are all contributing factors to the Z's feathering are setup completely different on the G35. I hear people bitching on this forums about feathering and how they hate Nissan and are never gonna buy another nissan again and class action suites blah blah blah.... every day and you never hear or see anything along those lines on G35 forums or from G35 owners at the mechanics, they all love there cars. I have a freind that has A '03 Ivory pearl white G35 coupe with brembo's and sport tuned suspension and he has never experienced any problems. I asked at the Infiniti dealer one day when I took my G in for a brake job if they had experienced any major issue's on tire feathering with G35's and they said NO.

Is feathering possible on the G35? Sure under the right conditions but on the mass level of the Z, no...

I never doubted you and maybe a few other folks having developed some form of feathering issue's on the G, but that was a rare case indeed...
